Deer Path Nara 〜鹿の小道〜

Deer Path Nara is a private whole-house accommodation nestled in the peaceful streets of Naramachi, welcoming up to eight guests. Fully renovated in July 2026, the property features solid Japanese cedar flooring throughout, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere filled with the natural texture and character of wood. The house was carefully crafted over approximately one year by a master carpenter. One of its most distinctive features is the large second-floor window, custom-made by an iron craftsman. From here, guests can look out over the traditional tiled rooftops of Naramachi and the open sky beyond. The living room sofa and large dining table for eight were also handcrafted from solid wood. Antique furniture has been incorporated throughout the home, blending traditional character with a newly renovated interior. In addition to the bedroom, the property includes a Japanese-style tatami room, making it ideal for families and groups of friends traveling together. Nara Park is within walking distance, making the house an excellent base for early-morning walks among the deer and leisurely exploration of Naramachi's narrow streets, cafés, shops and bookstores.
